Saw a pic of a retarded concept that was supposed to be cancelled.

Check first pic at top.

Is it just me or does that resemble the SS concept more than just a little?

It was never a concept. That was a photochop of the Solstice done by a car magazine. I think it was Car and Driver that did that. But it's a computer generated image of what they think the C6 may look like. It was part of an article with no useful info on it, only made to sell magazines.

Funny you said that, it was my first thought.

I haven't seen this pic in a while, but the profile is dead on with the "SS" concept. Its like Road and Track was onto something, just not the right car.

I remember back when that came out that the C6 is going to look nothing like that...with the SS concept im id rather have th SS as a Camaro than a Vette if it were 2 doors

Scroll down on that link until you see the silver F150 Lightning.

Is that a sweet truck, or what?

That's right on the money. It's just a touched up Solstice.

If that's what you guys are looking for with fixed headlamps, then I'm even more convinced than before that keeping the pop-ups is a must! Those fixed lights are gaudy as anything and they take away from the aerodynamics. Together with that front grill it just looks like a Pokemon nightmare. The C4 - C5 pop-ups were kinda silly looking when turned on, but it doesn't have to be that way. It all depends on the designer. Nobody really complains about C2 - C3 pop-ups, or for that matter 82-90 Firebird pop-ups which look great up. (91-92 was a silly "dilated pupil" redesign in preparation for the 4th gen).
