Another bone stock A6 5.0 runs mid 12s@116
I dont mind the nose (although the Roush and Steeda front fascia kits do an excellent job of turing a so-so front end into something very good in my mind), the rear unfortuantely is the result of having added hips to the current chassis rather than designing them in from the get-go. The rear end is that way to lessen the impact of having gone with a set of hips on the 2010-2011 cars. Although I find the GT500's **** alot more palatable in that regard, had I the chance to order up a new GT, cosmetically I'd swap the front out for the Roush nose and get the GT500 rear with ducktail on the trunk. Get it in kona blue with some white stripes and something akin to HRE's Monoblock P40 wheels (saw them on a recent Steeda magazine car - the HRE's are kinda pricey though
) and I'd be set!
) and I'd be set!Yep that rear end is the problem. Also, they have one out with a baby blue color that I don't really care for. All in all they are good cars though and they should give the camaro and challenger a run for their money. As much as I don't like fords I would have to admit I might go out and test drive one. The SMS versions are a lot easier on the eyes, but a lot harder on the wallet also. http://www.cartomotive.com/2011-sms-302-ford-mustang/
