Seriously, best yet. And I've seen most if not all Camaro Concepts out there.

It says CAMARO in so many ways. That said, I have faith in GM's design studio. They haven't disappointed me with a Camaro design yet.

 

Ooh...Now that I can dig! I see a little touch of the CTS in there, but I have to agree, that might be one of the best yet! Lets see if we can get any comments from Red on this one! If not it could be another hint! Woops I meant to post the link. I suck with computers!

I've always felt that that particular design never got the "air time" it deserved around here.

So many people drool over all the retro 69ish concepts (all 2,167,944 of them ) that I think a lot of those people forget how AWESOME a non blatantly retro design can be.

 

Wow, now that's what I'm talking about (evolution of the previous generation), NOT some complete retro 69 crap! I don't want GM to copy-cat the Rustang either. Honestly though, that is starting to get closer to the "fresh, new design" the next Camaro will need to be. Still a little borderline on sharing similarities with the 4th gen, but that thing looks SHARP and definitely more-modernized than the previous generation it will be following. But then again, I loved the 4th gens so of course I'd love this since this is what I've been asking for all along, LOL.

RP, can you comment at all if this is more along the lines of what we'll be getting? Or is this way off base??

Disclaimer: I don't hate '69 Camaro's at all. In fact, I LOVE them and want a '69 Z28 or SS someday to put in my garage...But I also want the "original" thing and not some retro-ized modern design.

 

All due respect to Crispey...I never liked that too much. It looks like it would have made a nice 1995 Camaro.

 

Yeah, its funny how these guys HATE retro but retro 4th gen is ok.

 

I don't see what is "Retro-4th Gen" (thought that would be another way of saying "evolutionary" anyway) about that drawing at all, except maybe the greenhouse.

If anything, I think it has a lot of "3rd gen" feel to it, without being a blatant copy of it.

This is the design theme the 5th Gen needs to work towards.

I dont see where some of y'all are getting a 4th gen out of that, it looks totally evolutionary to me.

 

I definitely see 3rd gen in there, especially the front clip. The rear end looks like an evolution of the 4th gen, and the hood scoop just looks bad ***. Oh well, it is fun to speculate, but I sure hope Detroit in January turns out to be far hotter than the weather would suggest.
