I keep fantazing about the day I come to the 5th gen forum and see confirmation and a pic.......

 

Every time I come here I hope to finally one day see the thread titled "Oh Sh*t, finally 5th Gen spy pics".

 

I wonder how badly peole like Scott want to just bust out a description. It must be frustrating to hear people so starved for information and be restricted in even confirming the project exists, let alone any details.

Josh, what gives? Is Chris under some NDA? Are you for that matter? I am sure you have solid reasons for not publishing the pic yet, but throw us a bone, at least tell us WHY you can't or won't publish Crispey's latest rendition.

BTW , saw the SRT-8 charger and the Firepower yesterday at the Mile High Nationals. All I can say is NIIIIIICCEE! And I don't even like the regular/Daytona Chargers. The SRT-8 though, just works.

As far as the Firepower, should they decide to make it, the car will give the luxo-sport tourer buyer a viable alternative to the 'Vette (which I still think is one of the greatest cars EVER! FWIW) It is a beautiful car, and should they decide to drop a 6 spd manual in it, I can definitely see it stealing some Corvette sales. At least for the people wanting more of a sport touring car than a pure sports car.

 

Just show it. I really hope that the front of the car is especially different from what we've seen so far. Never been impressed with it. It's also all a little too retro IMO.

 

So your holding onto an embargoed picture?...I find that hard to believe.
Cause I'd hate for this place to go from the annoying wink, to, "I got the picture and I know more than all of you," type of ordeal.

Scott, I don't doubt you when you say "Have Faith", I just believe that talking to enthusiast's, and not being able to share in the details, has to suck royally.
I can just imagine the post you make when GM finally acknowledges the cars existence.

Reread what I said. I said Crispey has a rendering that we believe is much closer than the PHR version.
