Yes, yes you are.

 

When you think that the 4th gen probably put out about 340 actual hp, 400 isn't much of a reach.

If you look at that number by itself, that's a still a god aweful lot of horsepower.

 

I care more about TQ.

 

Personally, I'd be more than happy with a 325hp car for high 20s. I'm sticking to the thought there will be a base coupe with an optional V8, and that will be my car.

And yes, I have a reason to think this will become true And no, the base V8 will NOT be called a Z28, either...

 

Yeah, how about RS or RS/SS.

 

I'd kill for an RS designation

My first car was an '89 RS 2.8. Such a pretty car, in medium grey metallic. Honestly, for flat out looks, it will probably be the prettiest car I ever own. No stripes, scoops, flares or excess anything...such a clean design. And yes...way better looking than any 4th gen. Sorry guys...

If it had been a 305 TBI, I never would have sold it, and may have never bought my Z. I hope to find a real clean, low mileage '89 RS in the future...
