Am I the only one getting burned out reading the new "Camaro/NAIAS" forum?

I think the issue (read, not exactly a problem) is that there are so many opinion posts. We used to have a couple every now and then but, since the pics, it's just been inundated.

Ah yes, the good ol' cloak and dagger days....

I get really bored with all the bench racing and coulda/shoulda/woulda talk about styling etc...

I am with Guy. With the forums separated I feel as though it is harder to keep up. Also my subscriptions stopped working, I just got them working on threads I subscribed to since yesterday. So I haven't been as vocal as I normally am, not that some people don't appreciate it I am sure.
But yeah I almost feel like more was being learned and at a better pace before the pictures came out than now. I don't know maybe I am just being slow in my old age, 24.

The more annoying part of the forum is the superfluous, redundant, pointless threads and polls.

I don't mind people sharing their opinion so much, but when they pass it off as fact, it gets a little old. But as Jason said, that's to be expected with the news of the past couple of weeks.

Be patient guys, it will settle down around February after the concept excitement mellows. Don't go runnin' off anywhere!

Like I said, that may not even be it at all.

Might be that the old "5th & futures" forum was more varied in cars it spoke about, or even topics or the odd article someone found and posted. But it could also be what a few people hit it already: more opinions than news.

I don't think it has anything to do with Camaro pics coming out (we had a period where we had a pretty accurate rendering). Just seems a bit more fun over here than over there since the subjects were split, that's all.

I agree Guy, I'm already getting old of some of the 5th gen stuff being posted. I don't post a ton but I read the forums at least twice a day and I'm being to have enough of people already going way into the new camaro, relax folks, the concept hasn't even been formally introduced.

I think for most of us that lurked/participated in the old forum, the pics were the only missing link for the Camaro. As much as I'm interested in following the Camaro in particular, I'm also interested in the industry at large. I'll continue to hang around here most often, checking into the other one for "production" news after January.
