Then the Z06 has 10 spokes and the new Cobra goes to similar 10 spokes....but then again I guess they aren't unique either? Not that it makes any difference, i guess its just coincidence.
I also noticed this, as well as many other things. No one ever seems to own up to it.You know what they say, imitation is the highest form of flattery!

I like superchargers too, however I'd rather GM continue the trend of makin' the big #'s without it. Leave that to me, I can install my own SCer. I would love to see the top Camaro beat the mustang without it. Maybe put in the bulletproof bottom end, like the Cobalt SS.

It's a 5 spoke people! A very plain, generic and standard looking one at that. I think i've even seen one exactly like that on my sisters mid 90's Suzuki, Lol. Chevy did NOT invent the 5 spoke people.

Now the 10 spoke z06 look-a-like ones, those are pretty close and a more of a unique design, but if you look closely, the differences are apparant. Again people, Chevy didn't invent the 10 spoke either.

The plus side to a factory boosted motor is it will have the supporting internals since the factory built it with the boost in mind. That usually isn't the case with a N/A motor.

But it would be nice to see the top of the line camaro (call it ZL1) with the z06's 427ci 500hp Ls7 . But we won't.

the mustang 10 spoke looks nothing like the GM 10 spoke.

they still don't look the same

similar in the sense that all 10 spokes look that way, but not the same.

I'm not comparing the cars...I was comparing the wheels. And once again, it doesn't make any difference...but its a little coincidental that the top mustang has now twice had very similar wheels to the top vettes, which is fine with me....I could care less....was just stating an opinion. I never said GM broke any ground with 5 stars or 10 spoke. IMO both sets look quite similar minus the centers.
