My friend, why doubt? I believe it. White with orange stripes is the official color choice of the 5th gen. They were merely checking out the aero drag caused by the stickered stripes, no biggie

I mean, c'mon now...there is not a single color choice better than white with orange stripes While that color choice is next to godliness, meanwhile, white leather was Satan's idea.

In BG this week, if I find out Scott had ANYTHING to do with the white leather choice on the '97 30ths, I swear I'm cuffing him one I just spent 2 hours cleaning the seats alone in my car, and they'll probably be smudged enough by the end of the 15 hour ride to BG that I'll need to touch them up anyway!

I know you're half joking but my point wasn't why white with orange for a production car... I happen to love the '97 30ths... In fact my first Camaro was Hugger Orange. My point was if GM was going to build a mule and test it on public roads why would they paint it a color that would stand out?

They would paint it flat black, or perhaps black & white zebra striped like Ford did with the '05 Mustang, or anything else to hide the contours and lines on the car. The idea being stealth, and not saying, "hey look at me, I'm a future production car."

Yes, a few of us picked that up straight away. However its disturbing that others around here are so hard up for Camaro news that they'd believe something so outrageous without first thinking about it.

GM isn't stupid. They aren't going to show us the Camaro until they're ready for us to see it.

Yeah, putting "NEW CMRO" on the license plate would be less obvious.
