The guy said he spotted the car going north on US-23... just south of the the car show where the car was also seen the same weekend.

No. I was driving North the car was heading South. Frankenmuth is roughly 1 hour North of where I saw the car.

If someone can post a picture of the car at the Frankenmuth show I'll be able to tell you whether or not it's the same one.

 

Sheesh. We're talking about sightings within 50 miles of each other over the same weekend. What makes you think it could have been anything but the showcar at Frankenmuth?

FWIW... the car looks like it was professionally done... but it sure does show my "Frankenmaro" fears.

The yellow Buick GSX (two cars to the left, partially visible in two of those pics) belongs to my father in law. My wife's Grand National was about a half a mile up the street, in front of the visitor's center.
