I think people are too stuck on HP numbers.. Make the lighter, more areo, better engineered and manufactured. I rather have it lose 500 lbs instead of gaining 50 hp..
However, I don't want the F5 to lose 500 lbs and 50 hp....

Base v-8 model: 350
Top of the line (Z28 or SS whatever not getting into that) 400
V-6 for the kids: 220ish
RS V-6 250ish.....

RS: v6 LN3 (3800) series (supercharged) or LS4 v8 5.3L (DoD)
z/28: LS6 w/ Independent Rear Suspension (standard)
SS:LS6 (standard), LS2(option), LS7(option), IRS (option), 12 bolt rear end with 3.42s(standard), or optional 3.73s, 4.10s (option).

people are too stuck on "badass" LS-numbered engines and "badass" sounding displacements.. "yeah man.. LSD 454, let's get a beer.." most of which haven't existed for decades now.
it'll be interesting to see what happens if they decide to call the motor something arcane like "L3Y" and have it be a pansy-*** displacement like 359 c.i.d. .. this just amuses me,, happens all the time.
