Still, I'd bet that Chrysler never anticipated that a majority of 300 sales would be for the Hemi-powered 300C. Considering how majority of Durrangos and Rams sold are also Hemi powered, perhaps the "Hemi" brand is stronger than either the Dodge or Chrysler monikers?

Ever since the (really peculiar) current generation 7-series premiered, the pricing on new BMW sedans has gone through the roof. Still, BMW has a tremendous image to play on. I'm sure I'm not the only one that still associates Cadillacs with "successful" restaurant owners, night club proprietors and trailer-park-dwelling Florida retirees.

Personally, I could see Chrysler 300s replacing Lincoln Town Cars as the T&LC-licenced "car service" rides that are so common in Manhattan. The Chrysler 300 has real D-I-G-N-I-T-Y, something that is rare for a modern sedan.

Cars like the Taurus and Impala don't convey a sense of dignity and they sure aren't very comfortable in the back seat. The same goes for the upcoming Buick LaCrosse, which will undoubtable suffer from the same hellishly uncomfortable seats that aflict nearly every mainstream GM product, not to mention the poor rear headroom that is the bane of nearly every modern sedan...

...Except for the Chrysler 300. Chrysler finally came up with a sedan that's actually good to ride and be seen in. Who woulda known?

Got my subscription issue magazine today! About friggin time

Anyhow--I was a bit disapointed withy the GXP performance. I chalk it up to:

brand new car--probably not broken in AND

why the hell didn't they drop the 300hp Northstar in it? That was a no brainer thing to do.

Still, I think I'd take a GXP. They look awesome. Doesn't look much like the over cladded SSEi INterior is abit over done though. The Bonneville could have been fixed years ago and should have been.
