"230"
"230"
This is GREAT advertising!!!!!!!!!
Twitter - Facebook - MySpace - and TV is ALL a buzz about what "230" is.
Bob Lutz said we'd see how GM's advertising has changed and soon or else he'd "fail" and man.......I want to buy him a cigar just for "230."

THIS IS GREAT!
So far, it makes me think of the Infiniti car commercials that had nothing to do with cars...or anything else...and left you wondering what the hell it is about period...
...but, I am still intrigued. It is working.

This is the first I've heard of it, too.
I'm guessing this is related:

This is the first I've ever heard of it.
Must have something to do with the volt since it has the electrical outlet.
Maybe the EPA is going to give them an economy rating of 230 mpg and this is their way of drawing interest/attention to it before it's announced.
Or maybe it takes 230 minutes to charge the Volt fully? But that doesn't really seem like something they'd want to draw that much attention to.
$2.30 worth of electricity for an average person's weekly commute?
Just throwing out some numbers that might make sense.
... OK I just read one of the articles linked to above and I really doubt it's 230 volts. Again, this isn't really something GM wants to center an entire marketing campaign around, especially considering that 230 volt outlets are pretty uncommon and every one I've ever seen doesn't look like the outlet they have there in the advertisement. For that matter I sure hope the Volt doesn't require a 230 volt outlet because most garages out there don't have one.

Unless something has changed dramatically with battery design, a 230 mile range EV would weigh as much as an F-350 and cost more than a ZR-1.
230 simple when you take into account the electric plug in and electric motors. the date underneath would be the date of release I would guess. Or for a more in-depth commercial. But it is clearly pointing to the fact of the Volt. Heck, maybe 8-11 is the day that they start actually advertising the Volt as being for sale.
