You mean the 427 convertible? I'm with you, that would be my choice of Corvette if someone were to offer me any current model free of charge. Even over the mighty ZR1. Droptop plus Z06 power =

If you aren't referring to the convertible, the 427 (LS7) has been available in fixed-roof form since 2006 in the Z06 model. You can pick up used Z06s for decent coin, or so I hear.

Even the option of the removable roof in the Coupe with the LS7 is very nice to have.

I don't think that is an option, is it?

I couldn't wait any longer and picked up a new 2011 Grand Sport convertible automatic.

Would have been great to have LS7 power but its a damn nice ride even with the LS3. The car sat at the dealer for over a year so I got it for a steal........

Make no mistake, even though the car has been around for a few years now, it is a fantastic ride. Well worth the money and still one of the best sports cars out there......

Chevy is doing a great job by offering new combos in light of the new model coming out next year. The 427 Vert is a damn nice car. I drool evey time I see the commercial.....
