Well - if the next Malibu is on the same platform a the Buick Regal - then likely they will also have similar engines

The Regal has the 2.4L 182hp Ecotec as the base motor, The GS has a 220hp 2.0L Ecotec Turbo, and the GSX is suppose to have a 255 hp engine.

The cloth seats are nice , and comfy too . I believe my Dads 08 Aura has the same cloth seats as the Malibu .
