2009 Taurus SHO!!!
And the Mustang is in fact a 2 door sedan per SAE as it has slightly greater than 33cuft of rear passenger volume.
Additionally, in more common usage a 2 door is a sedan if it has a B pillar behind the front glass. More precisely, the Mustang is a Fastback sedan.

I thought the Mustang was a coupe. Then again I thought that sedans had 4 doors and coupes had 2 doors -I've never considered it a sports car (sports car has become so bastardized by the general public that it has come to mean more or less to most poeple a high performance version - be it just a sticker job with some body cladding slapped on to something with a bit stiffer suspension and a few extra horsepower), but I consider it a sports coupe, then again maybe it could be considered a muscle car owing to its live axle/V8 configuration - it certainly meets the weight requirements (just needs a bit larger engine I think to truly be a muscle car)
Methinks this would suffice, it is supposed to the be a 427 CID Boss Mule.

This is no mule of any kind except for some race team.
This car is privately owned me-betsya. (sweet though!)
Maybe Bob will recognize it from the hood or car number... I'll have to wait 'til I get home to look it up.
As for wild engines in S197 cars... I have a paper article from 3 months back about a guy who has shoehorned a Vanquish V12 into his S197.
Un-freakin-B-leavable.
427s, 429s, and a slew of other new and old engines have been dropped into these now. A 427 does not surprise me.
Ok - didn't need to go home after all, just logged in and did a membership search...
How about Don Bowles... Open Comp winner at this year's Nitto Nationals in Bradenton, FL.

Here's a link to the article from Roush Racing that spec's the engine as fueled by E85. It is developmental, but it's not something from Ford's secret engine shop or anything. It's a Roush development being done between Roush and Don's race shop.
Here's the image of the engine/car posted above in other posts, but with detail clouds...

Article about the engine and car...
Roush Performance wins title at Bradenton NMRA Event!
I feel like I need a job on mythbusters or something...

LOL.
Ya, saw that car at Bradenton, and I believe it was at Atco this year too (only two races I attended). Definately a Roush "shop car". Didn't take a hard look at it in the pits or the lanes though. Sorry.

Dude, this car is a field competitor in NMRA's OC class.

Jeez, I gtta find a BB Ford pic to check out the water pump location, but I swear they dont sit that high.
I'm not complaining, its a win/win either way if the engine has the right bore spacing and you can get 5 to 7 liters out of it, just wish Ford would release something about it.
I'm looking at the engine and hit has a water pump sitting up high like the mod motors and the valve covers are reminiscent of the 2v motors, but I dont see a cover for the cam drive? just looks like the cylinderhead is attached to the block?
lol, it also looks like ots got a clutch capble as well (look back on the firewall and it appears to have a cable adjuster along with the rubber covered spiral cable housing they used).

Hey, I remembered something from Roush in a 20 questions type article (was in a Mustang rag, I can't remeber which one), but they were talking about a 6.0 liter mod motor and that could be this engine, a very tall block mod motor, maybe even sporting slightly larger bores??????
