Yea I was wondering if that was the case here. I mean....I've seen cars stop on that part of the track before...but I've never seen an engineer get out, leave the door wide open, and walk away from the car. I dunno I suppose it's possible. One or two of those frames almost look like they were inside the proving grounds... *shrug*

So if any GM engineers are reading this and would like me to shoot the prototype you're driving feel free to PM me. I always remove any identifying serial/plate numbers and faces.

SO..... there are possibly TWO cars out there. One is obviosuly a CTS. But which? And then, what is the OTHER car?

With the chrome, and the detailing on the "60 minutes" Cadillac, there's no way that is a CTS that's going to run in the $30K range. Also if it was a concept, it would have been on display this season.

The "60 minutes" car was something else. Wild guess? That $100K Caddy we keep hearing about, perhaps?

Interesting thought...

It does have a lot of the Sixteen Concept in that front end...

Re: 2008 Cts.

I think that the rear end looks more like the Cien concept rear as compared to the Sixteen.
I'm not surprised that it's a cadillac since that new "face" is the Escalade face as well and looks to be Break Through part deux

Either way, they both look good from what we can see. That undercover Caddy sure does resemble the Sixteen quite a bit.

Re: 2008 Cts.

A far better design language than either BMW, Merc have out there currently. Only Audi seem to have continued with their coherent designs.

Looks aggressive, not only from the front but from the side profile where the car actually looks like its moving while stationary.

Can't wait for Caddy to become truly global... Australia especially.

The grilles do look slightly different, but the lower front bumper and air damn looks totally different too. Could what was shown on 60 mins actually been Caddy's mystery coupe? The side profile of the blue covered car has coupe lines all the way. When I first saw that last month I had a hard time believing that it was a 4-door car under the blue cover.

Re: 2008 Cts.

wasnt the next gen cts supposed to take a good amount of styling ques from the 16 concept?

on the contrary look at the length of the hood in the 60 minutes car. i cant tell exactly how long it is (ie maybe long enough for a v12? if it is the supo luxo car.

but i still am convinced the 60 minutes car wat the cts. to me they just seem too similar. I really dont think the grille is that different. i also dont think the lower front bumper looks that different.

The hood looks long enough for a V12 to my eyes. It has to be Lutz's high end baby because like Guy said if it was a Caddy concept it would have been out this season.

Chris, Who's main person at KGP, Is it Lehmann?

No, Hans Lehmann has his own company. You usually see it as "Lehmann Photo Syndication" on the watermarks/credits. The names of the KGP guys escape me at the moment.

Re: 2008 Cts.

Those photos jive with the car I saw back in Denver in February ( I think it was Feb, too tired to look up my post).
