Not so sure I see Ford in it. Looks like a sharpened, updated Trailblazer ... which I've thought had better styling anyway. Looks good!

I knew the interior was going to be nice (I've sat in several early ones), but this is the first good look at the outside I've seen. Looks sharp. Really goes after the fit/finish aspect and sort of blurs the line between the body on frame "truck tough" look and the newer unibody crossovers. Solid and relatively conservative (as opposed to in your face ugly - e.g. Pathfinder Armada or Dodge Durango), but kinda sleek and "futuristic" looking.

Oh yeah, those wheels kick ***! And so does the gauge cluster. Tommy likey.

I see the trailblazer look which isnt bad. The headlights look a little too much like the previous jeep grand cherokee.

Too bad these things just aren't gonna sell like they did a five years ago. Gas is too high. I am interested in seeing GM lob two cylinders off the dura max and install it in the SUV's and half tons. 225-250hp and 450-475 ftlbs and a real world 20 mpg.

I dont think you'll see any mileage in the 20's in the real world, we'll have to see, I'm not holding my breath on DoD technology. Thats why I'm hoping for the 4.6 diesel, with 2wd and the 5-6 speed auto everyday 20mpg is possible. I read about rumors that ford and GM were looking at 6 cylinders versions of their strong V-8s.

Does anyone else miss the Chrome bumpers though???

Dont get me wrong, I absolutley LOVE this new styling and I think its gonna be a huge hit. I personally, just liked the Tahoe/Suburban when they looked like trucks with the truck treatment and not so... well... mini vanish...

Look good!

Gonna make for a tough decision between GMT-800 and presumed heavy rebates, and the GMT-900's if I end up getting something in this catagory (Silverado/Tahoe/Avalanche/etc) when the GTO lease is up in spring/summer 06.
