I would like to think it would, but honestly, there isn't a lot of mass-produced power potential left in the N/A 4.6, IMHO.

Anyone who has paid any attention to any of my posts regarding the S197 Stangs knows I don't like them, but I gotta say, I like this one. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it ain't bad.
Yeah, I caught that too. Seems that with all their emphasis on low in the article, that the peak torque would actually be, well, low.

My little 4-cyl turbo makes its peak torque all the way from 1800 to 5600 rpm... I don't see anyone getting too excited about that.

If there was a Camaro, would the Hurricane already be in production?
What material block does the GT have?

And the spoiler looks like an afterthought. It should at least be body color.

Perhaps, but if "if" was a skif, we could all ride. IE....it is irrelevant, because there isn't and it isn't.
Aluminum. Good friend of mine has one, and they are several thousand dollars each. Every mass-produced 5.4 is and always has been iron. I suppose Ford could start making aluminum versions, but even so, it will add significant engine weight over the 4.6, because unlike the LS1, the engine isn't just bored and/or stroked to gain CID. Rather, the cylinder walls are raised, thus making them wider, and adding material virtually everywhere.

The fake gas cap was the worst idea ever. Thank god someone finally found a way to make the car look good without it. Ford needs to make that rear bumper and tailight panel standard on all Mustangs.

Wow another special edition Mustang. How many special editions can you make before all of them become not so special anymore. I think they are getting close. Each one has like 10 more hp than the preceding special edition, in a few more years they will have a Mustang model for every 10 hp between 300hp and 400hp.
