Re: 2005 Saleen Mustang

Hmmm...seems like it's missing something. The old Saleen's had that trademark "in your face" styling, but this one seems a bit subdued for a Saleen.

I like the standard 05 lowered with a good set of wheels better. This mustang starts to look really fat and bloated with the ground effects IMO. It's bordering on it without em...

Re: 2005 Saleen Mustang

I like the blacked out rear. But, the body just needs a subtle lip for a wing ... looks a little too chunky. I like the "Eleanor" style front grill too with the smaller fog lights.

You'll like this. Looks like a chop though. This is how i'd do a 2005. Small chin-spoiler, removal of fogs in grill and rear wing, lowered, tint, and some nice wheels/tires. Looks way better than the overdone tuner editions.

photo gallery and write-up

and it seems like i wasn't too far from the price...$38,000 just to get in the door (325 hp), and $45,000 for a supercharged version (putting out 400 hp)...saleen is also releasing a 500HP/525 TQ extreme version starting in the spring (price undisclosed, but you can bet it will be in viper territory)

Yeah that looks pretty nice, this pic that I posted in another thread was the one I was thinking of, looks very mean to me: http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/.../gfgstang2.jpg
Fogs removed, would make a nice cold air/ram air setup outta the holes:

Of course those are 19s or 20s, little excessive on wheel size to me but hey...
