Not near as good as the MRT if you ask me:

So far it appears that this Mustang is not bodykit friendly. It looks best in stock form, and any attempts of bodykits thus far end up disappointigly overdone.

not as good as it can be, but knowing saleen, they will only charge something like $58,000 for it

Ah, it doesnt look that bad. By far the best looking body-kit for the new Mustang. Very Gone-in-60-Seconds.

Re: 2005 Saleen Mustang

I don't like the Interceptor. I like the spoiler and that's about it. THe lightning on the intake seems a little TACKY and Ford definitely did not consider people wanting scoops on this car because everyone I've seen make the stang look like butt cheeks... not literally as I'm sure some of you will picture butt cheeks on the hood, but figuratively. I don't think the Mustang is a particularly beautiful car or original for that matter, if I wanted something that looks like this, I could go get a '67. Wait that's basically what this is, a '67 with a warranty!!! Good news for all you Mustang fans. But amongst my rantings, I have to say that at least Ford has a pony car for all you Ford fans...

Interior related:

Why did they put the e-brake on the driver's side and the shifter on the passenger side? Wouldn't it have made more sense the other way around

I disagree entirely. I'm loving these birth defective Stangs so far Honestly, I've never really liked any of these Saleen or Roushe jobs on Mustangs until now. These are 2x better than stock IMHO.

Does the track look a little wider than stock in these pics to any of you guys?

That MRT does nothing for me though, way too tacky...

Re: 2005 Saleen Mustang

A lot of people were asking the same question, but in the end it doesn't really seem to matter as long as it's not in the way (which it doesn't seem to be). Heck, I didn't even notice it when I was sitting in it.

That is wallpaper material right there!

I love those fog lights and the lack of those big center lights like on the GT. Man.....I have never truly loved a Mustang until now. Wow

I'm having a hard time with that rear wing. I like the front a lot.

I agree. Looks tons better than Steeda or Roushes effort.

Overall, i like it except for that wing.
