I think it looks pretty nice. And BTW, this is what Chevy really needs. A nicely styled crossover, with a third row.

With that grill and that "H" on the front, there's going to be plenty of people mistaking that as a Honda.

I just did.

Once Hyundai starts to take market share away from Honda I would expect Honda to file a trademark infringement lawsuit against Hyundai based on the use of the "H" and that they both are competing for the same customer and products are like-and-kind. Jeep might have failed against Hummer in their lawsuit of grill simularities but Honda would have a stonger case.

The picture of the gray Santa Fe even looks like a Passport from that angle.

Is it just me, or does it look like that thing is about to roll over in the first picture?

Re: '06 Hyundai Santa Fe

just like i thought it would
it seems hyundai starts with something very different (1st gen tiburon) and then they smooth it over
i think it's a good step but hopefully people can still tell it's a hyundai (obviously not from the front end)
it looks like this one might fall in with all the other suv's except for price (looks are bland enough to make it look like any other suv)

Hmm....my question is, when do "crossovers" stop becoming "crossovers" and start becoming nothing more than an SUV with a stylish title, especially when a 3rd row is involved? Isn't it ironic that since everyone has an SUV, and automakers feasted off of sales of SUV's for years, the SUV is starting to become stale and almost unhip!

Chevy has the HHR coming, so that covers the small PT Cruiser-like "crossover" market....and to me, there's no point in building a truck-based "crossover" because it's just a fancy name for SUV anyway.

I was thinking "looks more like a Honda than a Hyundai". Glad someone else thought so to.
