Why leave it at that? Bring on the pasta-mobiles and the bratwurst-wagens.

It would be great to hear a magazine say, "For the first time in history, ALL THREE American manufacturers have a vehicle that will wipe the floor with all the foreign supercars . . ."

 

And I want to see Top Gear doing it.

 

Viper I think is the least visually appealing of the three - but all of them really kick ***.

 

Just saw on tv this weekend, C&D tested a Ford Gt 0-60 in 3.3 seconds.

 

I watched that show too, but I'm not sure they tested it to 3.3 seconds. I'm trying to remember how they worded it, but it didn't sound like they were the one's who got the 3.3 sec 0-60 time. Too bad I already deleted it off the TIVO.

I could be wrong though. I still haven't seen documented proof of a 3.3 0-60 time.

Just played it back and they exactly say

"sure it'll do burnsouts to till the tires disintegrate, but it can also make a rocketing run to 60. Just 3.3 seconds.. and you can get to 150 in less than 17."

EDIT: what they couldn't test was top speed.. they backed off at 170.

 

Even if the Ford GT does 0-60 in 3.3, it's still $250K to get one.

For that money, you can get THREE C6 Z06s with money to spare.
