If that were an actual car, I would have bought it by now. Too bad auto manufacturers can't make anything that sweet though...
This is professional type software, I remember it running something like at least $1000 a copy. Someone that knows better can correct me.

You got the spare dough around to buy a copy for each person that likes to doodle car concepts every so often, and train them to use this software?

I know "Rhino" is a good piece of software that is often used for automobile rendering. If anyone gets "Car Styling" magazine, they have kind of a tutorial for this software for rendering a car. Guess which car they used......................CTS.

Just as a guess, I would think it would be much higher. Even Photoshop is over $600. Plus you'd probably need a workstation to run it.

I checked the price of it a while ago, I can't remember the name of it, its something like XTS or something, but on their website, they advertised it at $1,400 or something close to that. I tried to download it on Kazaa to no avail...

There's always Kazaa. Not that I would do that though
I use similar software for architectural renderings. It's pretty amazing how realistic you can make things look. From wood grains to glass reflections. This type of software is where it's at for any reputable design firm.
