At the Auto Show in Motion? Please. You couldn't tear up a car at ASIM no how hard you tried. The courses are short and restricted to keep you from going fast. On the courses where you actually could have some fun (Hummer and 'Vette) you have an "instructor" in the car to keep you from getting silly.

I can tell a car bullsh!tter when I hear one, and while you may know what badge is on a car I have a hard time believing you know much more beyond that. I could care less if you don't know the first thing about cars. I have plenty of car buddies that don't know jack about the cars they drive and modify, but at least they don't pretend to be John Force.

I don't like the current GTO's styling either but thats what direction GM wants pontiac to go in...
If you look at the original GTO ,yes it was basically a optioned lemans..
For a little more than a lemans..
Peopler are saying that the current GTO borrows from the styling from the grand prix or whatever just like the GTO derived from the lemans ..except the GTO is at least $10,000 grand more than a grand prix...if it was following in the original GTO's footsteps it would look close to another model but only be slightly more expensive with the more powerful motor/drivetrain...
Thats what a true muscle car is and that how pontiac started the whole genre with the original GTO....
But GM wants pontiac to go upscale and take on BMW and such so you'll get blander styling with good power and good interior...
The TRANS-AM days are gone...The grand Am is being renamed G3....They are,in my views anyway, thumbing there noses at the average working man and going after your upper middle class$50,000-70,000 year income yuppie,instead of the guy that goes to the track for the weekend hangs out with his buddies and puts back a few cold ones after a good day of racing....NOT to say that people making a certain amount of money do certain things ..but I just don't see your average BMW driver at the track making adjustments to try to pick up 1 or 2 tenths...
And they stick the GTO namebadge on there to get some of these middle aged guys in there midlife crisis to run out and try to recapture some of there childhood glory....thinking that the GTO is back from the grave or whatever...just to findout its a rebadged platform thats been running in another country for years..Lokk at how the T/A progressed over the years...the GTO would not look like this if it had stayed in production...I'm not saying its a POS because of its looks....I don't like GM cashing in on a very well respected name to try to sell a car to a group of people that would never have appreciated the original GTO to begin with.

 

BTW,cross fire injection never came on a 350....

Corvettes had Crossfire injection on 350's in 1982 and 1984 (there was no 1983 car sold to the public).

HMMMM three sports cars that two are running under 13's. the 2000 camaro is low 15's. compared to some chumps with no web pages. Funny you should say that!!!! The guy who built my 305 is the same guy who helps John Force on his truck!!!!!!! And to shut you up even more, Johns Truck is parked 10 minutes away from me and the trailer is sittin behind the shop. Do you know Rodney? And yes A SVT Mustang!!!!! It's not my fault he could'nt catch his gearing right, or that I know when to ratchet up. I spent countless hours launching my car and finding the right shift points (in an automatic!!!). So you can not believe what you want, but when you want to stop talking and race. Coincidently the guy i was talking about, Rodney owes me a motor, (since your on John's d**k so hard). And stole a $10,000 motor that was 6 months in building because my buddy got killed the same week the motor was finished. yea the station wagon with the 550hp 350 (crate) w/ 150 shot NX sytem was stolen from a dead man!!! So keep looking up to them, cause I've already handled Rodney (never bring people to your house if ya gonna screw them) and when he goes to Barnett he watches his back!!!! actually, ill call you out right now. you are lying, your cars (yes all three of them) are slow as hell and none of them run faster than a mid 15. until you prove otherwise you are full of sh*t.
