either way, Im gunna take the video tape as more evidence that its slow. If the Cobra blew apart the 05, it would only add to it. We have "established" that the 05 Mustang GT runs 14's from the video. Having a Ford fan report that a car that has been said to run 14's been able to keep up with is 04 Cobra doesnt exactly tell me much.

Would you belive me if I said that I "saw" a 05 GTO run low 12's, or would you belive soem video of a 05 GTO running low 13's at the track?
So before we start pointing the finger, lets look at whos saying what, ok?

Um, no. I never said I took his post as gospel truth. From information I know and that is available to the public, his story "sounds" on the level. But like I said, we'll see soon.

 

We haven't "established" sh*t. That video gave no details about the car or the driver. It didn't even show the time on the board. But clutch onto it as the "established" benchmark of '05 GT performance for as long as you can...or until you look like a fool in a month or two.
The only reason you believe the GT video...Al...is because it shows an '05 GT running at the track and a narrator vocalizing a poor time for it. If the guy said, "'05 GT...just ran a 13.4 at 105mph", you'd jump on the band wagon claiming it was a lie just like any other brand loyal, biased, Rose-colored-glasses wearing GM-Fan/Ford-hater.
There is also a flaw in your analogy. I can take a 13-second car and make it run 13's...or 14's or 15's. I can't make it run low-12's. Get it?
