where to begin?

where to begin?
I have been working on My T/A for about a year. Doing things to make it faster. I really want to get into autocroos and road racing but I'm not sure where to start. Was hoping some one could point me in the right direction. I am from Texas (Dallas) But now live in Virginia Beach and will soon be moving to Pensacola Florida (military) If an one is a member of a club in those areas, I would love to become involved.
