Ultimate set up

What would be the ultimate set up if $ wasn't much of a problem for a car to run in autox and road racing?I know everybody says aftermarket springs, but what spring rate for frt or rear.I know everybody fights about rear sway bar size. Are coil over shocks the best way to go and what about install on this?

I know somebody as a say in this. I plan on doing some parts at a time,so the cost isn't that important. So,what are the best parts set up,any pref in spring rate or pro kit good enough.I plan on road racing and autox.I only drive about 30 miles a day so I'm not too worried about road manners(also my BIG BROWN TRUCK as no road manners any way). Please, any help would be appreciated!

Seriously, that is a loaded question that depends on a lot of things. I really like the way my car handles both on a road course and autox, and all the mods are on my web page.

You need to talk to someone who knows what you need. Call and talk to Sam. He auto-x and is running the stock springs...

Ultimate setup if $$ aren't an issue?
Z06

Seriously, the f-body is a nice car, but even a fully modded f-body will only be running about even with a stock Z06 with race rubber.

Now if you want the ultimate setup for an f-body, then I'd say:
Koni double adjustables front and rear
double adjustable rod-end panhard rod
17x11s w/ 315 race tires all around
big brake kit
full roll cage (will dramatically stiffen the chasis)
35mm front bar
T2R Torsen differential
GW upper control arms
coil over suspensionr
od-end LCAs

Honestly, the spring rates or coil over shocks would not be at the top of my list (as a matter of fact, I'd probably do them last, but that's just me). As for the rear sway bar size, I'd leave it stock or maybe go to a 21mm once you get a 35mm front bar. Depends on what you like. If $$ is not a concern, a 21mm bar is not going to be a big expense so you could swap it for different tracks.

First, you want to figure out what class/races you want to run in.... that'll give you a basis of what you can do..
