It's all good.

Like I said, the SFC's are for insurance against loosening up my car, not for the suspension, and they are not absolutely necessary. If I didn't think that my front shocks were bad, I probably would have done the front swaybar first also. I think you give very good advice, and I understand your thoughts behind doing the swaybar first.

I guess my point is this:

Take two stock F-Bodies, I add sway bars, you add SFC. Which one do you think will handle better? Which one do you think will feel the best? The best bang for the buck, with the least effort are the sway bars. No question. They totally transform how a car handles, the roll , the feel and precision, everything. Easy to bolt on with very little expense.

You are absolutely right.

I just want to keep the chassis tight after my mods. Thats all. I never said SFC's are for better handling, although they may help a little bit, I can see where they pale in comparison to Swaybars, Shocks, Springs, Tires...

They are a chassis mod, for me to enjoy my car longer.

Actually your car is quite similiar looking to mine. Mine is also Acrtic White (Monochromatic) but, it has special ordered factory chrome wheels.

Just so you know when you start stiffening your suspension you will lose some of the cars ability to transfer weight. This may hurt your drag racing. The being said you can always disconnect the front sway bar when you want to run the 1/4 mile. I really do nothing to my suspension when I goto Stanton and I can still pull 1.9 sec. 60' times with my stock GSC's. My front end hardly moves up at all. LOL.

You have a PM.

For the past year or so I've been running 1LE springs all the way around and a 35mm front bar (ST) with a 21mm hollow rear bar (1LE). I have Bilstein HD shocks without any custom valving. With this set-up the car was fairly neutral on a road course. On the street it was neutral under neutral throttle, but if you got on the power at all hard (my car has 3.73s and 360ish RWHP) mid-corner it would start to oversteer quite quickly in the lower gears. I've been playing with different set-ups as I'm getting more into autocross and less into track events and now have switched to a stock 19mm rear bar and stock rear springs. With this setup and the 35 mm front bar/450 lb. front springs, it will stay neutral accelerating out of a slow corner when you give it 1/2 to full throttle. If you don't use the accelerator to help steer the car, it will want to push. What is your driving style? If you want a car that will stick in corners on a twisty road where you maintain an even speed, then you'll want a more neutral setup than someone who hammers around a slow autocross course and is constantly accelerating hard. On the street, I love to accelerate fast around a corner from a dead stop when I get the green left turn arrow. I need a little push to be able to use the throttle. It really depends on how you drive...
