Yes LS1 springs will work on an LT1. They are linear rate vs. the LT1's progressive rate. I am running the Eibach Pro Kit LS1 springs on my LT1 and love them.

Are those off the shelf springs? Regular Eibach springs (i.e. Pro Kit, Sport Line), are still progressive for LS1s, but the front springs are a tad lighter because of the slight weight difference.

I bought mine from Sam Strano and was told they are 400# linear rate springs up front. The rears are still progressive but I can't remember the specs. I believe Eibach changed from progressive to linear at some point. I trust Sam and believe what I have been told.

It's really easy to tell a progressive from a linear rate spring. Just look at it! On a variable rate coil spring, the coils will not be evenly spaced, usually closer together at the top. They always seem to be installed this way, but I have never been able to figure out why they wouldn't work if installed "upside down", with the more closely spaced coils at the bottom?
