Post Rear shock upper mount location for convertibles?

I have a 95 Z28 convertible and was looking to see where the upper mounts for the rear shocks were.I had the carpet pulled back parallel with the "goalposts" or rear seatbelt towers and couldn't find any sign of where they are mounted. The only thing I had to go by was removal instructions for hatchback models. Are the mounting locations the same for converts?Maybe I'm just blind but I couldn't see any foam blocks covering the mount location.

The mount points are about 6-8" below those seatbelt mount points, behind the rear seat back. There should be a perforated square cutout in the carpet that you'll need to cut and pull back to uncover the foam cover over the shock.
