rear camber?

Post rear camber?

The other day I saw a somewhat ghettoish looking slammed BMW with what appeared to be negative camber on the rear wheels but none on the front. I was just wondering if anyone had seen anything like this before, and if it has any use...thanks!

He probably has a 200lb "system" in the trunk.

Kinda tough to emulate rear camber on a live axle car.

But anyways I would imagine negative camber in the rear serves the same purpose it does up front. However as Dave K mentioned the rear axle is solid on our cars therefore there is no way to adjust the camber back there.

You may well have some negative camber in the rear, CamaroMustangChallenge allows no more than -.5 in the rear, but as mentioned its not adjustable like thiers.

Well, there IS, but its neither easy or cheap. You bend the axle housing, just a bit....can get about 1-1.5 degrees negative but its a job best left to an expert. Lots of the A-sedan guys do it, and I'm told by rumor that some of the T-1 and T-2 guys are doing it too, but not that they will admit to in front of a tech inspector.

Not only is it not easy or cheap, it's not safe.

The NASCAR boys used to do it, until a number of axle failures made NASCAR clamp down. If you lose an axle it can easily cause an accident.
