next mod

right now i have

bmr strut tower bar
bmr lower control arms
bmr adj. panhard ron

eibach lowering springs
kyb gas adjust shocks

im looking for my next handling mod. i was looking to get the subframe connectors and sway bars.
with the things i have on the car now what sway bars and sfc's would you guys reccomend? i know thier is alot more to getting a good suspention setup than just buying whatever looks good and you people know way more about this stuff than me. what would you suggest? or am i looking in the wrong direction what should i get instead?

i am setting my car up to handle great in all situations. driving down backroads, racing down backroads, driving on the highway, in traffic, drag racing, you name it i will be doing it.

I'll tell you sway bars, someone else will tell you subframe connectors. Take your pick.

Swar bars, 35mm Suspension Techniques, either leave the stock bar (19mm too much understeer for me) or go with a 21-21.5 solid rear bar (I use LGMotorsports). I think the 25mm ST rear bar is a little too stiff.

Someone else can chime in about SFC's.

I think swaybars are the 1st thing to do, even before shock and spring upgrades (or at least done together).

At your point of modification, Swaybars are definitely your next step. Once you get the improved cornering from the swaybars, then SFCs will provide a noticeable improvement in chassis stiffness from the extra forces atttempting to twist the chassis.

I use a 32mm solid front SB and 25mm rear solid SB from Addco. It works pretty well with the 315mm tires in the back and soft rear springs, but I will probably increase the size of the front bar to 35mm and decrease the rear bar to 21mm, when I set the car up with 315mm tires/ 11" wheels on all 4 corners. FYI, drag cars like stiff rear swaybars.

As for SFC, I love the Kenne Brown Double Diamond setup, but it will disqualify you from certain classes, if autocross competition is your thing. If you are just looking to make the car the best overall handler it can be, then go for it.

As for getting optimum drag racing and road course handling out of the same suspension, they are somewhat mutually exclusive. The SFC help both. The addition of swaybars will not hurt your drag launch much more than the lower/stiffer shocks/springs already did.

Hopefully, you stayed away from the rear lower control arms with polyurethane bushings on both ends, as these will bind in hard cornering causing the rear to come around at the worst moment.

Not to thread hijack, but when the poly/poly LCA's bind, should it feels like the rear wheels are hopping (sideways, not up & down) around the corner? I don't do autocross but I've noticed this every now and then.

Shouldn't. When they bind in a turn, it will be a sudden oversteer, the rear end will just snap around.

If your panhard rod is doing it's job, there should be much if any side to side motion allowed by the LCA's.
