Unless you are drag racing you don't need a stiffer rear bar. A stiffer rear bar can help your drag strip launches by controlling torque twist but your handling will suffer by making the back end more willing to step out. Strano is an awesome guy and sells equally fantastic parts. I bought my solid 35mm from him years ago. It's a night and day difference from stock. Completely different and the largest increase in handling I ever did to my 02 SS other than race tires. His hollow 35 bar is supposed to be almost as stiff and lots lighter. If it wasn't comparable he wouldn't be carrying them. He's also a very respected autocrosser who can recommend exactly what modififications to make to achieve your personal handling goals. Give him a call.

Thanks, but I wouldn't rule out a little more rear bar if there is a something like a 35 on the front. I'm not saying in all cases, but I also wouldn't say that nobody can make use of one, just as long as it's not too big.

I raced one in my Gen 1 377 for several years and it worked great.

not sure if they make them for Gen 2 and Gen 3 SBCs
