Finaly got the car to shift (thanks Ion).Best pass of the night was a 7.90@87mph on Kuhmo 711's pulling a record breaking 1.74 60ft time on street tires For you 1/4 mile guys that would be around a 12.32... the car also has ported heads on it too. see sig for list of mods.

 

Very nice times :-). My best 1/8 mph to date is 89.xx and I have similar cam so you can still probably squeeze some more power out of it. btw, I have the regular grind xe230/236 and an auto that doesn't like to shift 2-3 w/o hitting rev limiter lol.

 

Very nice time..... Very impressive 60' time on radials too... I was able to cut consistant 1.81 60' times on BFG Comp TA radials before the big converter.........

That's a great 60' time. Tell us about your suspension mods. Don't your run 3.23 gears? That's probably how you're launching 'hard'. When will it be time for a 3.73/dr swap? Then you'll certainly impress us all.

Those numbers should help restore some people's faith in the xe cams.

I used to run 3.73 gears then broke them and had the 3.23's sitting in the building and slaped them in and it picked up .14 sec. So I am going to keep them in for a while..
