North Georgia road race enthusiasts, we need some volunteers for the upcoming Petit LeMans event at Road Atlanta, Oct. 9-12. As a volunteer, you would need to help for one 4-hour period on one day during the above dates. Most volunteer work is directing cars to available parking spaces, or staffing the information booths. Two volunteers are assigned to each information booth.

In exchange, you will receive a 4-day Superticket to the event, which includes paddock access, and an event Tee shirt.

There is an orientation meeting at 5:30 pm at Road Atlanta on Thursday, Oct. 3 that you should attend to get acquainted with the venue, as well as sign up for your preferred duty and preferred hours. Last year I volunteered all 4 days and had a blast. On race day, I got to work with the Speedvision crew in the pits.

We only need a few more volunteers, so if you are interested, contact me soon and I will email you the form to lock up a place for you. (minimum age: 18)
