Brake opinions
Ok, I know there are Baer kits, Brembo, and Wilwood kits out there and a couple other smaller companies that make kits for our cars.
For those of you that have aftermarket brakes what would you get if you had it to do all over again. And what are some of the good/bad points of the kits you have?
The only limiting factor is they have to fit under a 17" GrandSport wheel, other than that. Anything goes. I don't know if it makes a difference or not but I do have LS1 spindles in the front.

I am partial to the C5 kit, I run them on my car and I used to sell them before I closed my business. The adapter brackets are still available from Bob Bishop, though. Bob's e-mail and all the info on the package is at www.nashvillespeed.com
I have driven a couple C5 kits... for a street/weekend warrior they are fine. If you get serous about the track the Prospeed Kit or Brembo (almost the same thing) are the way to go IMO. Prospeed uses Brembo rotors and and calipers but is under 2k. If you aren't running on a road course that often or only do auto X the C5 would be fine.
