lowering springs

i want to improve the handling in my 87 iroc.
i also would like to lower the car 2 inches.
any recommendations on brands of springs and shocks struts.
i am on a budget so nothing too exotic.
and could you include a price if you know

The "cheap and easy" way would be Eibach Prokit and KYB Adjust-a-gas but if you can spring for the bil's or Koni's - do it. This will get you awesome results and you can get by ( especally with the KYB's ) for a darn good price. While your down there I would suggest doing poly end links and sway bar bushings.
