Addco Swaybars

Has anyone heard of or used the hollow addco sway bars? I saw them in JEG'S or Summit (one or the other), and it said that each would save 14lb. (or maybe both together). I just wondered if they performed well, and saved the weight they claimed.

They might save some weight but they're not stiff enough for me. I might be wrong but I believe the Addco bar is the same as the LG Motorsports front bar (32.5mm) which I use to own. Size DOES matter!!!!

I use Addco solid bars. A front hollow bar would have to be huge (probably interfere with the turning radius) to get near the stiffness of an Addco 1.25" solid front bar. The car corners very flat and handles undulating roads well with 500lb springs and Koni DA shocks.

While most of the torsional rigidity is obtained from the outside diameter of the bar, the inside cross-sectional area contributes alot too, it just adds more weight.
