I've seen it done on 98 02 camaros and was wondering if there was any modification necessary To make it work. Are there different ones? I found a few for cheap and was wanting to grab one. Thanks I'm advance

 

What style WS6 hood are you looking at - 96/97 or 98-02? What year/model is your car? You can't bolt a Firebird hood on a Camaro. You would have to buy an aftermarket hood in the style you want, made specifically for a Camaro.

Suggestion - Add a "Signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. Makes it easier for us to help you, with more accurate info.

 

unless you do a major front end swap lol any ws6 style hood on a camaro is 100000% aftermarket!

I have a 2002 z28 ls1 all stock except audio and exhaust. Work in progress. I'm still new to this stuff. I trust the judgement of those on this forum. That being said. What would be a good aftermarket ram air hood to purchase. I'm buying a Volant Air Intake and I'm looking for compatability.

get whatever looks good to you. a functional ram air like the stock SS hood (there are aftermarket replicas) wont do all that much for you.

 

As long as it says it is made to fit a 98-02 Camaro.
