i'm not very serious about this, but i am interested....

i was lookin at getting the whole interior of my car re-upholstered black. black carpet, black leather bucket seats, front and rear, black deashboard, all black plastic etc. black steering wheel

i have a 97 firebird formula, all black. will be getting black wheels and a 97 ws6 hatch. would it be possible to get allt his stuff from a gm dealer and have them install it??? i know that seems kind of far fetched, but black on black is sweet. i'll also be adding some minor black tints on my windows.

 

Its very possible but why would you want GM to do that and charge you a fortune?

You can get leather seats for about 600.00, dye your existing panles black,buy a black carpet 200.00 and you're done

 

i want all factory seats, carpets etc....

plus i wouldn't be able to do that to my daily driver in the first place, i dont have the tools etc.

 

what color is your interior? if you have the dark gray i'd just get leather seats out of a wrecked car and find a hatch off ebay or a salvage yard. no point in redoing the car if its already a dark color or going through the dealer. i'm sure the black on black will look good. which wheels were you looking at? make sure they have a polished lip though.

 

I'm getting 18x10.5 black corvette z06 wheels with chrome rivets in the back, and 17x9 same type wheels in the front. i'm getting a 555r nitto setup with 275 front and 305's rear.

my color i guess they call it dark pewter??? it def. is gray. not too dark. would making these changes to the hatch and interior, and possibly bumper and side skirts and hood, bring down the resale value to the dealers if i ever decided to sell it?

 

thats what I plan on doing with my interior. All carpert black all seats black all pannels black. If I could just find some paint or die that looks exactly the same kind of black that is on the dash I would be set and ready to go.
