Would either of these wheels fit?
i am looking at two different wheels right now. one is a 17x11 w/5.5" backspacing and 3.18 center bore. would this wheel fit on the back of my 95 z? will it stick out or will it be tucked nicely into the wheelwell?
the other wheel is a 17x9.5 w/ 6" backspacing and a 3.54 center bore. this would be ran on the front with the previous wheel in the back, or all 4 corners with this wheel size. how will this wheel sit in the fender well of my car.
the 17x11's will be ran with a 315 tire
the 17x11's wil be ran with a 275 tire
i would like to know how these wheels would fit on my z. thanks guys

Not good choices. I honestly do NOT know how the hub diameter would fit (my ZR1 replicas seem to be less than 3"), and you also need to look at the bolt circle.
But, a 17x11 needs a backspace of 7.75 to 7.93". If you put a 5.5" BS on the back, they would stick out more than 2" past the edge of the fenders. Not good.
On the front, I have run as little as a 7.15" BS, and I believe the Torque Thrust II for the 4th Gen uses a 7" BS, so if you only have a 6" BS on the 17x9.5s, it would seem they are going to stick out up to 1" past the fender. Not good.

so could someone please tell me what the best backspacing would be in order to fit 17x11's on without them sticking out at all?
also for the front!
i was looking at the weld prostar xp's but they didn't list any other measurements besides those that i listed
i thought that they would fit

You might want to try a "search"... I know I have answered this very same question in the past, with photos and dimenstion.
17x11 requires a 50mm offset = 7.93" backspace.
Any more backspace than this, and the tire is heavy into the inner fender wall. Any less BS than this and the tire starts to move outside the fender line. A true ZR1 wheel is closer to 38mm offset (about a 7.43" BS) and IMHO puts the tire too far out of the fender. Some people may find it acceptable.
================
17x9.5 requires something in the range of:
38mm (6.75" BS) some Enkei's (to me these are sort of too far out)
44mm (7" BS) approx the size of the TT-II's
49mm (7.34" BS) OZ Monte Carlo
56mm (7.62" BS) AFS ZR1 replicas for F-Body (any more than this and the tire/wheel will be hitting the steering knuckle)
If you can find my post, it has links to pictures of the wheel/tire position with the TT-II's (Kelly Drown LS1 WS6 T/A) and the OZ's and ZR1's (my Formula)
