Was probably thinking "If they can Hello Kitty a Ferrari, then this will be tame!"

Seriously though, aside from the lack of taste in the paint department, I have seen a LOT worse out there..

I have no problem calling that a Camaro. The wheels are reasonable and the spoiler is stock. It's just a terrible color scheme and a bit of overkill on the entertainment system.

I saw this myself the other day and thought the same thing, lol. WTF was that kid thinking? He should have sold the V6 car before he defaced it with that paint job. Combined the money he spent on all that electronics stuff and could have had a very nice car to drive around in.

Not everyone likes the same thing. Rather than trash it, why not just ignore it.

In any case, this is the kind of post that usually gets put in "Appearance". Moving......

I'm not one who has pretty low standards, however, again, I have seen that sort of thing done a LOT worse. It isn't like the screens are dangling, it isn't like the amp and whatnot are just tossed in with wires strewn about. It isn't by any means, something I would feel personally comfortable showing off to too many people, without the words "in progress" heavily attached. The paint is really what kills it for me. Yeah, it's a couple extra screens that..well, unless you have kids, they really are only there for the Pimp My Ride factor. But eh. At least things are at least semi-recognizable and it isn't redneck-ed in with duct tape.

EDIT: you know..looked at it again...if they took the friggin bug-eye covers off the front, and put the grill area back to silver, it really wouldn't look nearly as awful.

Everyone's style is different- I'm pretty sure in his circle of friends they all have the same type of thing in their cars. They prol sit around and say "All those guys with their cars with no screens and no custom paint are boring."

Its a different look- not my style but I respect the effort that went into it. The stereo install isn't the cleanest, but the sub box does look pretty clean instead of the wedge boxes so many people just drop in the t-top area and call good.

There have definitely been a lot worse cars out there for sure...

you are all right in that yeah there are WAY worse cars out there but I just really found the color combo and the addition of all the stereo equpiment to be just overdone and stupid. I do see where you are all comming from and I am not trying to burry the seller but I just felt this was something that I thought the forum would find intersting.

I remember seeing a really overdone T/A at one of the GM High Tech EFI Shootout days at Raceway Park in Englishtown (NJ). It was a red T/A coupe with a double stacked T/A spoiler on the back, and the huge plastic louvers over the rear hatch window, and 6 video screens inside it. While everyone else was racing, this guy spent the entire day in the pits with people watching his video screens. As much as I personally disliked the car, a few months lated it was featured with a huge spread in GM High Tech Performance magazine...... different strokes for different folks.

I posted that car in a topic on ls1tech a few weeks ago when it was listed on ebay the first time. The headlights are hideous. Someone commented (and the comment has been removed--because if you looked up what he mentioned it would give you nightmares) about it looking like a disease some babies are born with called harlequin something or other. Don't bother looking the disease up, it's honestly horrifying to see in person, but I'd be lying if he wasn't completely right. Those headlights need to go ASAP. *shivers*

the worst part is the grill area paint, the rest of it is not terrible, but good thing he stopped when he did. I bet the car looks cool going down the road with all 5 TV screeen on at once.
