Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?
Yep, that's the pic. What does that tattoo mean?
I like your 3rd brake light, it made me laugh and I want one of my own.
"Evil Lord Lucas" everytime you brake = classic
Mine would say "KISS MY SS" if I had one

My tat's a Bantha Skull; same size color and placement of the one on Boba Fett's left shoulder pad from Star Wars. I have the Imperial cog on my right shoulder.
A rust color version of the skull on a white Camaro w/the lights Focuztech is designing would like sweet.

WTF?
I ain't readin 21 pages of stuff about headlights.
How about creating a replacement lens and frame that looks stock, but allows for the use of something like the 9006 bulb. Below is a pic of the set up in my SHO that makes it easy to change bulbs.
I used to drive my Camaro a lot at night and every 6 months or so, I was under the hood fighting with the headlight assembly. Multiply that by 7 years, and well.....

Remember when people were hooking up those Nissan 240SX/Silvia S13 (or whatever number) headlights to their Camaros? This was back in 2003. Weirdest thing I ever heard of. I believe the biggest problem with using them was that people couldn't figure out how to mount them once they ordered them. Anybody still have pics?
CALL911 .. a couple thoughts ..
I was talking to my wife on the way home from work today, and the topic of
these headlights came up (hates her '95 lights). I was commenting on how
its weird how things work out. I bought my 93 Camaro Z28 after totalling my
'60 Studebaker Hawk. She bought her 95 because of how dependable my 93
was, than I bought my 95 Impala (one "L" BTW
) because of the '93 and '95.
I joined the Impala forum, years ago, and through that, found out about the
Focuztech headlights. Recently someone crashed into my parked 93 Camaro,
so I joined THIS forum to get help sourcing a 98 front end, & found this thread
about getting a new headlight made ..... I posted about FocuzTech, they saw
their name mentioned, and now they are in the process of making them!
As for the size of the bulbs, I would rather go with the larger bulb if it can be
made to fit the 90mm's not the 50mm's. The reason is the smaller lights will
be too small and far apart. I think the larger ones, up higher, with the top of
the light partially obstructed by the hood would look mean. Kinda like that
Clint Eastwood glare from the spagetti westerns.

Maybe Focustech will also produce stock-looking headlamps for us. That way we can have upgraded headlights without the problems associated with getting the old bulbs out and putting the new bulbs into the stock lamps that aren't meant to be taken apart. I'd be a pretty big fan of that. They offer a lot of different stuff on their website for other cars, so I don't see why they wouldn't offer them for '93-'97 Camaros as well :-). Don't our headlamps fit '82-'92 Camaros as well? Or were their lamps larger?
82-92 used a larger bulb. From what I read the only other car that used the
size on our Camaro was the Grand Prix. That explains why they are so pricy.
What IS interesting, is one manufacturer is making a bulb that fits in the spot
the factory one sits, looks like a sealed beam, but uses a replacement bulb. I
have these on my wifes 95 Camaro.

FocuzTech said they would use the largest size Hella that they could make work how they wanted it. If they can fit a 90mm they will. At first glance, it seems like after they incorporate a bezel, and the housing, they may end up using the more likely candidate of the Hella 50mm. The answer to the bulb, the price, and the appearence will only be revealed with time.

Maybe I spoke too soon, I didnt actually take them apart, but they looked as
if they DID come apart, havent had one go bad since I bought it. The light
has an unscrewable ring on the backside, and the bulb has a bulb inside. It
could be a sealed beam, but I remember it looking very different from the one
I was replacing. One is a Wagner Halogen, and the other is a GE, they both
have the unscrewable part, and look to have a bulb inside the bulb. No??
They were bought from Walmart.
