Who would be interested in a different headlight assembly for 93-97 Camaro's?

I won't modify my bumper and I doubt many others will either. For how expensive new headlights are, I don't think many people will hack their bumpers up or buy new bumpers that fit the headlights. I know I won't.
The most I would do is drill a few holes.

These would look awesome! I hope these are the more likely candidate of what the finished product might resemble.

Pretty neat ideas being thrown out there, glad to see that FocuzTech has got
a Camaro to work with now. I think that a black background in the lights is a
given, that (I feel) is whats wrong with the 98-02 headlights, the chrome in
between the headlights ruins the look. I say NO CHROME backgrounds, it will
go too far from the original black buckets, & draw too much attention to the
new headlight. I also agree that to insure mass sales, modifying the bumper
is out of the question. The concept of being able to turn the car BACK to the
stock headlights needs to stay within this project. After pricing the cost of
my damaged 1993 front bumper, there is no way I would cut or even drill one
in an area that could be seen if the car had to be changed back.

We have taken a good look at the space provided for a headlamp and how the fascia is constructed. Modifying any part of the front fascia is out of the question. These will have to be bolt in/out and plug and play....

Now that ya'll have a Camaro to work with, how some "in progress" pics? That is; once ya'll get started.

I do have a general design question...and that is...
Do you want the lens to come out and be flush with the front headlamp opening?
Or do you want it recessed?

hey i agree with just plug and play mount in and go.... just putting it out as an option as i have seen ppl do it when its simple enough, ie a rotary tool to clearance the black around the edge....
plug and play, and my first pic would be the best....

That looks like some type of cover for the stock headlights, not aftermarket.
I prefer recessed (doesnt have to be recessed as stock) as it would still have the familiar camaro look while still bringing it up to today's styles

Chaulk up another flush look vote. I think a headlamp that smoothes the front bumper as a whole will look much better.
The guys who have mounted up their own recessed hella 90mm bulbs did a good job with them, but it really makes the car look bad IMO.

I don't know how to vote in that question. I just know I like the Fisker light best, so make it like that
