White face gauges help needed quickly...
Okay... I got a set of MacEwen white face gauges which I installed today.
The instructions did say you don't have to remove the needles, but after trying to slide the speedometer/tach piece in place, I decided that with my big fat fingers
it wil be a lot easier if I'll just take the needles out.
I did mark the positions of the temp/oil/voltage/gas on a piece of paper when the engine was cold and the ignition off only.
Yeah, probably I should've taken pics and with the egine running etc., but since I didn't, now I need some help... Hopefully somebody can help.
After I put everything back together, the tach is about 1500-2000rpm too high, gas is a quarter tank off. Oil pressure is slightly too high, as well as the battery gauge.
So..., is there a way I can line them up properly anymore?
I did remove the needles on my 95 TA by using the same technique and I got those to line up really well afterwards, but now it looks like I'm screwed...
Or am I? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Re: White face gauges help needed quickly...
Well... After reading some search results, I did something similar somebody had already done.
First I let the car warm up and then I placed the tach needle to about 600-700rpm, where it usually is. I also placed the speedometer needle to point just below the 5mph mark.
Then I went and filled the car up with gas and placed the needle a bit over F.
No I just have to figure out someting for fine tuning the temp/oil/battery gauges, though... Something similar, I guess.
