Where to find replacement leather seats?.......
Ok, my fiance is in AIT for the next 13 weeks and I've got her 96 Firebird and I want to fix it up for her. The only thing I haven't found is the replacement leather seat cover, where can I find it? The side bolster is ripped to heck. Any help is greatly appreciated.
(To clarify, I don't want the entire seat. I've already stripped the leather off the cushion, just need another leather cover to put back on it.)

you can get one at the dealer for big $$$, or go go www.leatherseats.com and buy a whole set for all the seats for probably only twice the amount of the one cover at the dealer! i think i am ordering a 2-tone set from them this week.
btw, your fiance is at AIT? what branch?

I have a 97 SS 30th, and the guy who had it before me tore up the bolster on the seat and seat back. I found an upholstory guy who will take the seat out, and replace the two parts for $75....admitately, this is cheap since I work in the restoration industry, but I don't think it would be a hell of a lot more
'95 z-28/ '00 montepace - Thanks for the link! Yeah, I went down to the local GM dealership and they wanted waaaaaaay more than I was willing to spend. As for my fiance, she is in the National Guard. She went to Fort Jackson for Basic and is now in Fort Gordon, GA for AIT. She's my "Weekend Warrior" ^_^ (But she's spending 15 weeks for AIT. Holy crap, I figured that National Guardsmen were trained in only basic jobs....)
jrahrah - You've got a 30th? Dude, I love those...anywho I know of a shop who'll do the work for me as well, but I kind of want to do this myself. Chicks dig a guy who can work w/ his hands ^_-

I would call the dealer up and get the part number. Then go to GMPartsdirect.com and see how much it is there. My passanger seat ripped right in the center, the dealer wanted $360 for the lower cover GM Parts direct has it for $208.
