Where can i get Fan shroud decals?

As long as i've owned my car there has been some sort of white stains spattered on to the fan shroud of my car. They won't come off and i have no idea where/what they came from. Last week when i was tearing into my car and had my Throttle cable cover off i painted it black with black interior plastic paint and it made it look brand new. i would love to do the same with my fan shroud but i don't want to leave it with out and decals on it. So i would need A/C decals, Belt routing, emissions and any other factory decals that are on the shroud. Is a dealer the only place to get these items. I also know i could mask around them but it would look nicer to strip the decals off and paint it then replace them. Any help? A dealer would probably charge me $25 bucks for the Decals.

I really think the only place to get the actual factory replacement decals like you mention is going to be from GM. If you get them through somebody like Jason Cromer out of Florida, you can get them for about 60% or so of what the typical dealer will charge... usually

ok thanks Brent i figured that was the case. I don't understand why for mustangs you can buy almost any part new out of catologs. Interior, drivetrain, suspension, decals and any other restoration parts for newer mustangs. Yet for our cars you can't find anything. I'll see if i can get some decals somewhere.

man, 25 bucks? i dont know ANYTHING from a dealer that costs 25 bucks lol for those? your probably lookin at $100 LOL i mean jesus christ, they want $870 just to change my spark plugs!!! no parts included!!! i remember they wanted about 85 a piece for Z28 logos... lol what a rip off....heres what you do, get some pinstriping masking tape from a local paint supply shop, do your DAMNDEST to mask the edges around the decals perfectly, the pinstriping masking tape helps with corners and bends, you should be able to mask it so well that nobody would tell the difference. then you use normal masking tape and mask the area inside the pinstriping tape, that way you dont have to be as meticulous about it tip of the pros man, my grandpa used to paint, had his own auto body shop for 50 years, learned all my stuff from him. mask it, and paint it, cuz if you had it done professionally, they would do the same thing!

I was kinda thinking the same thing. LOL! If just $25, I'd buy them in a second. hahaha

Anyway, this got me curious so I looked up the part numbers. Don't even ask for the part numbers because there are like 30 just for one of the stickers depending on your car and option combinations.

There are three stickers on the shroud. GM list for them is, $14.00, $14.60, $14.60.

So, they retail for around $14 each. GMpartsdirect.com sells them for around $8-9 each but will charge you about $20 shipping (probably) to send them to you. Your local GM dealer might give you "their cost" on them which means probably around $10 each so that ain't bad

93-02 Camaro Parts Manual pdf file. Took part numbers and punched them in at www.gmpartsdirect.com to get a rough idea of cost
