Arrow Wheel Offsets

What is the proper wheel offset for a 2002 Trans Am WS6? I was looking at getting the 2000 vette thin 5 spoke wheels. I guess they come in a 50mm or a 63mm? What is the offset on the stock rims? I have the Eibach Sportline, so I'm not sure if that really changes anything in terms of size for 18"X9.5".

thanks

The stock WS6 wheel is 17x9.0 w/ 55mm backspace. If you are looking at 9.5" wide wheels, I have found that anything from 45mm to 56mm offset will work in the front. The back is a little more forgiving. I prefer a 55mm offset, because it adds and equal amount to the front and rear of the wheel. On a severely lowered car, that will help keep the tire in the stock position, and minimize rubbing.

Some of the stock C5 wheels have 65mm offset... I think that is a bit much for a 4th Gen F-body, and might require a thin spacer to get the wheel out far enough from the steering knuckle.

According to a chart I have from VETTE magazine:

Z06 18x9.5:
Repro only, 61mm

'01-'02 C5 18x9.5:
Factory and repro, 65mm

'00 C5, 18x9.5:
Factory and repro, 65mm

'97-99 C5, 18x9.5:
Factory and repro, 61mm
