Its ugly. Window banners are the dumbest thing ever. Anyone here can flame me all they want. I know alot of the people here have them and I'm sure alot of people hate my car so I'm not really concerned. I think the rims on the Z look good, just chrome looks out-of-place in that picture to me.

I agree on the window banners. Especially the ones that state the name of your car.

The chrome wheels look good on his car though. His is one the of the cleanest and nicest 3rd gens I've seen.

Its a second gen and I think the rims look good in certain lighting, like this picture he posted:

Window banner was a matter of opinion. I liked it for awhile, but as of a few months ago, ditched it.

I do not see chrome rims, either, all I see are my polished wheels.

It's cool if you don't like it, bro. I'm not too fond of most 3rd gen Firebirds (I love IROCs/Z28s). And I see you're wanting a '79 "5.7 liter" (call it a 350) Camaro. Make sure to keep it stock appearing, y'know, with 15" wheels and whatnot. Don't want to ruin the appearance with 17" "chrome" wheels.

Read the post directly above yours, I elaborated on how I think the rims look better in different lighting (some make it look chrome, some make it look polished). Some guy I know just sold a 79' Z28 for $800 hours before I went to pick it up so now I need to get some cash to get my friend's 79'. So don't get me wrong, 2nd gens are badass.
