http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1866096281

these rims have a 38mm offset, i currently have stock 98 LS1 wheels on my car...would these wheels bolt up without problems? or would the offset be way off? i wish i knew the stock offset, thanks to anybody who can help me!

Stock 16x8 and 17x9 (SS/WS6) wheels are 55mm offset. I've run 17x9.5 in 49 to 56mm offset w/ no problems, and 17x11's with 50mm offset and minor fender liner hammer work.

A 38mm offset on an 18x8.5 would put the outer edge of the tire/rim almost exactly where my old 17x9.5 (49mm) OZ Monte Carlo's sat:

FRONT 1/4-VIEW

REAR 1/4-VIEW

ANOTHER FRONT 1/4

The only down-side of the 38mm offset is some additional stress on the front wheel bearings, due to the centerline of the 18x8.5 wheel being pushed further toward the outside of the car.
